Editor’s Note – September 2012
And that’s a wrap.
We’d like to thank everyone who helped us get Redstone Science Fiction rolling, achieve SFWA status after year one, and have a great 28-issue run. Especially, but certainly not limited to, Sarah Einstein, Christie Yant, Charlie Jane Anders, Lou Anders, David Alastair Hayden, Cat Rambo, Mary Robinette Kowal, John Joseph Adams, Ken MacLeod, Hannu Rajaniemi, and Cory Doctorow – professional writers and editors who all treated us well. Thanks as well to the hundreds of writers who submitted their work to us and especially to the authors who sent us the entertaining stories that we had the honor to publish. And a special thanks to Chris Miller for not only three great stories, but keeping an eye on my (hopeless) copy editing.
For the record: it takes WordPress, GoDaddy (I know), Calibre, Twitter, Facebook, and a lot of elbow grease.
We aren’t going to disappear, but we are going away for a while. The website will stay up, the stories will stay online, and e-versions of all the issues will be up.
Remember, your jobs are to make sure that we live forever and that we get off this rock.
Your friend,
Mike Ray
