Identity Crisis Contest

Congratulations to Cheryl Rydbom!
Her excellent story, “The Jenny”, won our Identity Crisis Contest. We had several excellent submissions this year and the decision was quite difficult. You can enjoy “The Jenny” in the September 2011 issue of Redstone SF.

Consider the following past tense.

Welcome to Redstone Science Fiction’s summer contest, guest-edited by Sarah Einstein.

First things first, read Sarah’s essay – Identity Crisis: Who are we, if we can choose who we are?

She succinctly sums up our aim – “This year, we’re looking for pieces that explore identity in a world where representation is fully self-determined.”

Here’s the plan:
1) The identity-themed story contest opened June 15 and remained open until August 15.
2) 4000 words max, 5 cents per word, and follow our Guidelines.
3) Submit to identitycrisis@redstonesciencefiction.com.
4) Sarah & our editors will choose the best submission and the story will be scheduled for publication on September 1st.

If there are any questions, feel free to contact us at editors@redstonesciencefiction.com.
